Lloyd Marcus: Stop Allowing the Left to Set the Rules
I am so sick of the Left being allowed to make the rules. Imagine the absurdity of a competition in which one side is allowed to set the rules against their opponent. The Left tells us what is racist. The Left tells us what we can and cannot say. The Left published a cartoon depicting former black Secretary of State Condolezza Rice as an Aunt Jemima; another depicted Rice as a huge lip parrot for her Massa Bush. Neither were considered racist by their creators or publishers, or even widely condemned on the Left.
In opposition to black Republican Michael Steele's campaign to run for U.S. Senate, a liberal blogger published a doctored photo of Steele in black face and big red lips made to look like a minstrel. The caption read, "Simple Sambo wants to move to the big house". Not one Democrat denounced these racist portrayals of black conservatives.
And yet, a sign seen at a tea party depicting Obama as a witch doctor is considered by the Left to be beyond the pale and obviously racist. Why is the Left, given their track record of bias, granted final authority to determine the intent of the sign? Why do we conservatives so quickly and easily allow ourselves to be put on the defensive?
The rules set by the Left are extremely clear. Racist images of black conservatives and negative images of Bush are fair game. Even a play about murdering President Bush was called "harmless art". Meanwhile, all unflattering images of Obama are racist, and constitute dangerous, potentially violent hate speech.
New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd called Congressman Joe Wilson a racist for saying, "You lie" to president Obama. Using her psychic powers, Dowd said Wilson was really saying in his mind, "You lie, BOY!" And yet, liberal commentator Julianne Malveaux, saying she hopes black conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas' wife "feeds him a lot of fatty foods so he will die early from heart disease like many black men", was not considered racist. I am a black conservative singer, songwriter, entertainer and columnist. Liberals have posted comments all over YouTube and C-SPAN freely using and calling me the "N" word. Because they are libs and I am an uppity, off the liberal plantation, run-away black, all tactics to restore me to my owners are acceptable.
Gina, there has been recent documentation that a connection has been established between DOH Fukino and President Obama. No court has ever stated what a Natural Born Citizen is, but yet in a public statement the director of health for Hawaii has reviewed President Obama's records and could make that determination. A new lawsuit to be filed.
The first attorney, Leo C. Donofrio, to have his case discussed at the Supreme Court of the United States in reference to President Obama's eligibility has made an Important Announcement.
ATTENTION….
I want as much focus on this blog as possible when I publish Part 3 of the TerriK Investigation Report, subtitled:
STATE OF HAWAII LAW DEMANDS THAT VITAL RECORDS INFORMATION FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA BE RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC ALONG WITH ALL RECORDS PERTAINING TO DoH DIRECTOR FUKINO’S JULY 27, 2009 PRESS RELEASE.
Not only has Obama waived privacy interests, the state waived them as well. More important is the fact that state law governs that no privacy interest exception applies when the information requested is required to be released under the UIPA at 92F-12.
The only question is whether Hawaii will obey its own laws.
I will publish this report late tonight or early tomorrow morning.

Getting back on topic... [enough with the birth certificate already!]
Gina, you make some excellent points. Most of what you cite sounds quite racist to me, and lot of it I am not familiar with, which tells me the media did not make a stink about it. So why didn't conservatives point out the obvious racial overtones? Perhaps the conservative movement in this country is so overwhelmingly white that it doesn't really notice racist statements. In any case these people should be called out as you say. We liberals may cringe but we're not going to make your political points for you.

While we are at it, why not call EVERYONE A RACIST WHO USES COLOR AS A REASON TO HATE, BE COVETOUS, BE UNREALISTIC, BE PREJUDICIAL OR AS AN EXCUSE TO COMMIT VIOLENCE OR VERBAL ASSAULT! The hate crimes are almost genocidal in this country as they appear to be exclusively used against the rare white perps of black victims. The only way to be fair is to use the hate crime enhancement IN ALL CASES WHERE THE PERP IS A DIFFERENT COLOR THAN THE VICTIM.
Or better yet, call the NEA- make them start teaching the fact that all of us in this country are Americans- white, black, hispanic, asian, european and mediterrean and that all races have fought side by side for freedom since the civil war. Teach blacks not to hate whites and hispanics, hispanics not to hate blacks and whites, men to respect women, and that every citizen has to be given respect. Or, am I out of line for suggesting that reckless hatred towards those who are or are supposed to be self hating may not be good for anyone. I, for one am not into genocidal treatment of the one race the liberals have chosen to turn their anger and the world's anger against. As a whote American, kinda makes me feel like a German Jew living near a "work camp" in 1939.

Jack, Michelle Malkin and many other conservatives did point out the racism of the left at the time and have continued to do so many times since. A few links:
Conservatives point out racism in portrayal of RNC chair Michael Steele as minstrel by left-wing bigot blogger Steve Gilliard: http://michellemalkin.com/2005/11/02/the-vile-bile-we-have-to-put-up-with/
Conservatives point out racism in portrayal of Condoleeza Rice as "House Nigga" by leftist cartoonist Ted Rail: http://michellemalkin.com/2004/07/08/the-buck-naked-bigotry-of-ted-rall/
Conservatives point out racial condescension of eSn. Barbara Boxer (D-CA): http://babalublog.com/2009/07/liberal-racists/
And a roundup of many examples of liberal racism here at Freedom Eden: http://freedomeden.blogspot.com/2006/10/liberal-racists-blackface-gallery.html
The old media ignored and continue to ignore the racism from the left because it suited and continues to suit their leftist political sympathies.
To argue that racism on the left was not noticed by conservatives because they are too racist is preposterous and demonstrably false. Jack, I think you were genuinely unaware of these facts. Clearly the Huffington Post is only reporting the stories that suit its readers' political biases. If you don't read conservative blogs too, you'll have only half the story, if that.
To argue that racism of leftist can continue be ignored because the leftist media have always ignored it is, with all due respect to you personally, ridiculous.

My comment must have been flagged as spam. It was directed at Jack. Jack, google Star Parker and Larry Elder. Both black columnist and read Star's last two opinions and Larry's last three. You'd be surprised how the black community is quickly loosing trust.
