David Letterman roughed up ex-Gov. Blagojevich in his interview with him tonight. Here's the first exchange after his introduction:
DL: “Why exactly are you here? Honest to God…”
RB: “Well, you know, I’ve been wanting to be on your show in the worst way for the longest…”
DL: “Well, you’re on in the worst way
And so, Obama's quest to show us how much better he can run the White House than George W. Bush continues. Do you suppose he's beginning to realize that, like most jobs that require a degree of skill, the presidency is actually a little harder than it looks? But I'm sure he'll be very impressive, once he stops tripping over his own shoelaces.
