Or maybe not. From Fox News: Accused 9/11 Plotter Tells Guantanamo Judge He Would Be Proud to Attack U.S.
Does every Guantanamo detainee have to be this explicit about his intentions before the left "gets" it?
GUANTANAMO BAY NAVAL BASE, Cuba — A man facing trial at Guantanamo for allegedly running a training camp for Sept. 11 hijackers said Thursday he would be "proud" to have participated in an attack on the U.S.
"Any attack I undertook against America, or even participated or helped in, I am proud about it, and I am happy," Waleed bin Attash told a military judge.
The judge, Marine Col. Ralph Kohlmann, cut Attash off before he could say anything further that could incriminate him at his upcoming trial on charges that include murder.
Bin Attash is one of five Guantanamo prisoners charged with war crimes for their alleged roles in the Sept. 11 attacks. They could get the death penalty if convicted.
By all means, lets spend millions upon millions of dollars giving every Guantanamo detainee layer upon layer of due process.
Let's cut them off mid-sentence when they try to confess in court.
Let's give these enemies of America -- who would kill us all if they had the chance -- more more benefit of the doubt and more favorable coverage than we give our own elected leaders like George W. Bush and Dick Cheney.
Let's pretend that the detainees give a flying leap what we do in our courtrooms.
Let's tie ourselves into so many knots that we can't even move. That, apparently, is our working plan. And it's going very well, thank you.
Well, so far it's working very well for the Leftist-embraced Islamists. For the victims of Islamist Terror ... not so much.
Way to go, Democratic Socialists! What a wonderful human legacy you've built!
