Gina you're right - facts are so inconvenient. Like this fact:

The American Physical Society reaffirms the following position on climate change, adopted by its governing body, the APS Council, on November 18, 2007:

"Emissions of greenhouse gases from human activities are changing the atmosphere in ways that affect the Earth's climate."

An article at odds with this statement recently appeared in an online newsletter of the APS Forum on Physics and Society, one of 39 units of APS. The header of this newsletter carries the statement that "Opinions expressed are those of the authors alone and do not necessarily reflect the views of the APS or of the Forum." This newsletter is not a journal of the APS and it is not peer reviewed.

So which "Organization of 50,000 Physicists" are you talking about?

Get your facts straight, even if they're inconvenient.

Can you say 104?

That would be 104 billion dollars expected to be spent by consumers on green products in this year alone.

I once heard of a glass store owner who's business was falling off. So one evening, to 'stimulate the economy', he set out to break the windows of other store owners in town. The next morning, he had several calls to replace broken windows.

Global Warming is nothing more than an economic ploy to create a crisis, then provide goods and services to alleviate the crisis. How 'bout it Ralph, need a window?

When the title of an article is a lie, why believe anything else in the article? When someone answers with a complete non-sequitor, it's clear they have nothing of sense to add.

I'm sorry, but a non-sequitor would be to discuss the price of rice in China. The point that seemed to allude Mr. Kramden is simply the credibility of global warming once again comes into question when 1130 top executives around the world consider the created value in selling 'green' goods and services, and are modifying their business prospective to accommodate the potential; or was the link provided allusive as well?

Ralph Kramden, you are quoting a position of the APS from eight months ago (November 18, 2007), which does not contradict the current news at all. The latest report discloses that there is NOT consensus among the 50,000 members of the APS, and that there is significant room for doubt about the theory of global warming within the organization, which means that the debate is reopening, if it ever closed. Trying to fall back to where the organization was in November 2007 doesn't address the fact that the evidence is conflicting. Many APS members not believe that the theory of global warming is accurate, and have noted errors in the data.

Organization of 50,000 Physicists Agrees: NO Consensus on Global Warming

FINALLY SOME ONE THINKS LIKE ME!
SOME ONE IS THINKING! ABOUT TIME

NOW IS CALLED CLIMATE CHANGE

IT SEEMS THAT MY ARTICLE ( http://hmsweeny.com/links/GLOBALWARMING.htm ) HAD AN IMPACT, AL GORE AND HIS FRIENDS NO LONGER CALL IT "GLOBAL WARMING". NOW IS CLIMATE CHANGE!

I GUESS THEY DO NOT WANT TO BE LABELED AS MORONS

Yeah, the REAL facts are inconveinent....to the BS that you're throwing around. Actual scientists know that global warming is real and getting worse. Know-nothing conservatives who can't comprehend a world beyond their own self-interest keep trying to argue it, and waste our time, but the actual peer-reviewed evidence shows how wrong they are. Try the site Realclimate.org for a start, and leave the science for the reality-based community, of which you clearly are not a member.
