So now we know that the passport files of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and John McCain were all accessed without authorization by State Department employees or independent contractors.
It needs to be deterred, and it will be, but snooping is human nature. This sort of things has undoubtedly gone on in state, federal and local offices around the country for many years.
The nice thing about computers is that they maintain excellent records of who had access to what and when.
Now that this story has broken, I wouldn't be surprised to see a flood of additional simiilar allegations in the news, until everybody gets tired of hearing such stories.
It would be interesting to find out
what the total number of breaches were
for the candidates and everyone else.
