Matt Drudge reports that Al Gore's name is nowhere to be found in Paramount's posters promoting the global warming apocalypse film "An Inconvenient Truth":
"It's not a political movie," a top source at PARAMOUNT explained, offering no other explanation on why Gore's name does not appear, even in the film's credits on the poster.
A rival studio executive claims marketing research showed little audience interest in a movie starring Al Gore.
The film has made $2,070,413 so far at the boxoffice in limited release.
The movie poster available via the internet is so small that I'll have to take Drudge's word for it that Al Gore has been omitted.
Even for those sympathetic to the theme of the movie, sitting through 1 hour and 40 minutes of Al Gore has to feel about as relaxing and fun as having your teeth cleaned. You might do it, but it's not your idea of a fun date.
