I had to actually turn my calender to May this morning and look at the date of "May 1" before it dawned on me which date was selected for today's big pro-illegal-immigrant "nobody-go-to-work" day.
It's the communist holiday of May 1st, "International Workers Day." The day on which the failed Communist state of the Soviet Union held its annual pro-communist parades. (The picture above on the right is from a pro-communist parade in Moscow in 1993, after the 1991 dissolution of the Soviet Union.)
That answers the question of why May 1st was picked for the pro-illegal immigrant rallies, and not some other date like Cinco de Mayo.
Apparently this has been obvious to some all along. ("Illegal May Day Communist Boycott Loses Support"; "Immigrant Advocates Embrace Communist Holiday").
So today's protests were organized with the specific goal of aligning immigrants with the present and past of communism.
Communism. The system of government responsible for the brutal repression, deaths, and imprisonment of milllions, literally.
That's what illegal immigrants want?
In America?
America, which is the greatest place of economic and political opportunity on earth precisely because it is the land of the free?
I can write this without hesitation to whoever thinks May 1 is an American holiday:
Go home.
Communists, go home.
Go live in one of the many failed communist and socalist regimes that litter the world. Enjoy the poverty and extreme repression that communism brings in real life, despite its supposedly high-minded ideals. Sacrifice your own human liberty if you want (and may God help your children who have to grow up under repression thanks to your bad choices), but don't demand that Americans give up our liberty.
Don't come here and try to kill the very freedom that makes America great.
This is the most stupefying post I've ever seen. Well done.
