A post on Iraq that's worth reading for the title alone:
"The Real World Has Varied Terrain" at UNCoRRELATED. Here's a paragraph I like:
The real world is messy and success is never a straight line. Usually, and this is my experience as well as the experience of anyone I've known who has succeeded (finally) at something, success explodes after the long slog. The long slog itself is filled with mistakes, misjudgments, regrets, bad luck, but above all--persistence.
How does this apply to Iraq? Read it and find out.
