Wandering over at The Anchoress's site, I was led link-by-link to the "Book a Minute" pages at RinkWorks.
What a find for the busy person! And aren't we all?
"Don't have time to read it all? We at Book-A-Minute understand that your time is valuable. You want to experience the wonder and excitement of the fine art of literature, but reading actual books requires a significant time investment. We've got the solution for you. Our ultra-condensed books are just the ticket."
Check out the classic favorites of Julie at The Happy Catholic, including:
War and Peace
By Leo Tolstoy
Ultra-Condensed by Kris Samaras
History controls everything we do,
so there is no point in observing individual actions.
Let's examine the individual actions of over 500 characters at great length.
THE END

So pull up a cozy chair, set an egg timer for three minutes, and read five classics!
There are also book-a-minute bedtime stories for children. One of my favorites: Time for Bed by Mem Fox. I'd never read it before, but I love the version ultra-condensed by Samuel Stoddard:
Time For Bed
By Mem Fox
Works for me!
