Give me a break.

If you want to talk about partisan press, look no further than FOX News!!!

The attitude that being educated and well spoken is somehow elitist, is exactly what got us into the mess this country is in, in the first place.

While Palin managed to stand in front of a crowd and regurgitate scripted answers, she never gave answers with any depth or detail and instead spoke vaguely and often changed the subject to avoid topics that she knew nothing about.

I do NOT want my next door neighbor or "Joe Six-pack" serving as Vice President or President of the USA.

I want a well educated, thoughtful person who can lead using reason and intellegence. Not gut instincts and fool hearty emotion which is all we've had for the past 8 years, and all we will continue to have if we elect McCain and Palin.

When did Americans become of one thought and mind? When did we start desiring control from others as to what we want or how we think? Most of us grew up believing that anyone could be anything in the USA with hard work, dedication, respect for our fellow citizens and perseverance. We grew up respecting those who got knocked around and stood up to adverse challenges and succeeded, even if we disagreed.
CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC,PBS and their affiliates, (referred to as "they" or "them"), are now collectively the mainstream and they are increasingly demanding that no one question this collective sameness. They are winning. We no longer desire an ability to question this sameness. We have accepted this sameness and have been disciplined to only question when "they" do, accept as truth and right what "they" do and in mob form oppose what "they" want us to oppose. "Their" control is the new America- and whatever "they" want America to be.
Americans used to respect freedoms and defend others in difference and disagreement, if only for their right to be different or disagree. This notion is lost and we take comfort in this loss as it voids us as individuals and allows to become more like sheep.
We now are most vulnerable to fear and cowardice to everything not favored by "them". "They" have controlled us to the point we seek to improve our self worth by accepting without question as "they" want us, failing to question what "they" tell us, and in the future, be the juries that imprison those who may simply appear to have a thought different from "them" as "they" shall most inevitably impose.
Those who agree and are charismatic in support of "their" agenda are placed in a position of unquestioned acceptance, regardless of hidden agendas so obvious we are afraid to call them out.
Palin is "their" example of the dangers we will all face if we oppose "them". She is an American leader fighting a great and necessary fight. She has been knocked down only to come back stronger each time. This is strength in the face of diversity "they" want us to refuse. She is America's only and last defense against the most dangerous enemy our country has ever faced- unquestioned sameness controlled by "them". Support her at least for her fight now- it will be yours if she loses and most of you have already lost.
Thank God for Palin, John Voight and others opposing "them".
Thank you for this sight.
