The Obama Gaffes Are Getting Worse
First, a word of context. Barack Obama can be quite eloquent. He looks authoritative in a suit. He can deliver an entire speech without a gaffe. In fact, he usually sounds confident and smooth. On the basis of these strengths, he is now the Democratic Party nominee for president.
And yet . . . .
Too often, Obama loses his train of thought while speaking, or says ludicrous things. In a matter of months on the national stage, he's already built a reputation as a gaffe machine.
Is Obama's problem just sleep deprivation, as he claims in one of the clips below? Or is there a more serious problem behind these lapses? Whatever it is, the problem keeps recurring.
Two videos via Gateway Pundit:
Here's Clip #1 : "Give That Kid a Breathalyzer Test"
And heres Clip #2: "I'm Completely Lost"
There he is -- your potential leader of the free world.
This is the guy whom the Dems want answering the phone at 3 a.m., when he's, uh -- sleep deprived.
Notice how, as Obama flouders in these situations, if becomes painfully obvious that his knowledge of his subject matter is only about a millimeter thick. He can't quite remember what the aide told him during the limo ride the other day. He just can't quite access it.
The only thing that saves Obama is the goodwill and indulgence of his audiences. But how long will that indulgence last? At some point, people begin to make silent mental notes about what they are observing.

I keep reading about what a smart guy Obama is. I've seen no evidence to back that up.
In my ever-so-humble opinion ... Obama's a dope.

I have noticed a distinct pattern from Obama and his supporters towards revisionist history. Whether it's Pastor Wright, with his radical interpretations of American history, or Pastor Moss' denigration of Thomas Jefferson, or Obama's historical distortions, which support his P.R. image building efforts. Their tactic is to discredit, or distort history, in order to pave the way for their new extreme policies. A President of the United States should know, and communicate real historical facts, not fabrications for personal political gain.
