I decided that I have way too many "Favorites" in the left column on the front page of my website. 

I suppose it's a good thing that I enjoy so much of my own writing -- that makes one of us!  But in the interests of streamlining the front page, I will soon be moving all my favorite posts to this entry that will eventually become its own separate page.  There will be a link to this page under "Favorites," and I'll still keep one or a few favorites on the front page, possibly rotating them.
