Shamnesty

Can you think of anything more frightening than gridlock in Congress?

I can.

I definitely can.

It's called bipartisanship.  Now that's a word that can send shivers down anyone's spine!

Bipartisanship has apparently spawned the latest immigration proposal out of Congress -- one that will throw the doors to America wide open and officially extend America's hospitality to millions upon millions of heretofore illegal immigrants, whose one uniform shared characteristic is their willingness to break America's laws.

Of course, that also means extending America's wide next of expensive social services to millions upon millions of people who are willing ito break the nation's laws.

But that's O.K. because we all enjoy paying taxes, don't we?

And -- good news!  We're told the proposal is not amnesty.

Yes, I know.  It looks like amnesty.

If feels like amnesty. 

It sounds like amnesty. 

It even rhymes with amnesty.

It's . . . sham-nesty!

Shamnesty.  Coming soon to a neighborhood near you, if Congress gets its way.
