9/11 Conspiracy Theories Melt in Searing Flames

September_11_burning

“I do believe that it’s the first time in history that fire has ever melted steel. I do believe that it defies physics that World Trade Center tower 7—building 7, which collapsed in on itself—it is impossible for a building to fall the way it fell without explosives being involved. World Trade Center 7. World Trade [Center] 1 and 2 got hit by planes—7, miraculously, the first time in history, steel was melted by fire. It is physically impossible.”  (Rosie O'Donnell, March 29, 2007)

Paging Rosie O'Donnell.

[silence]

Paging Rosie O'Donnell.

Ah, Ms. O'Donnell, there you are.

By now you've had a chance to read the Popular Mechanics article that debunked your insinuation that the collapse of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 was caused by something other than the collision of two jet planes into the towers.

We're still waiting for you to explain to us why Popular Mechanics is wrong, Ms. O'Donnell.  Being intellectually honest, as I'm sure you are, you're probably lying awake nights wondering where your engineering analysis of the collapse of the World Trade Center went wrong.

But meanwhile -- did you hear about the fiery crash Sunday at the interchange near the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge that burned so hot it caused the highway to collapse?

OAKLAND, Calif. - A gasoline tanker crashed and burst into flames near the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge on Sunday, creating such intense heat that a stretch of highway melted and collapsed. Officials predicted a traffic nightmare for Bay Area commuters for weeks or months to come.

I guess that would be the second time in history, steel was melted by fire, eh Rosie?

Here's a little fact about the highway collapse that you might want to ponder, Ms. O'Donnell:

Witnesses reported flames rising up to 200 feet into the air. Heat exceeded 2,750 degrees and caused the steel beams holding up the interchange from eastbound I-80 to eastbound Interstate 580 above to buckle and bolts holding the structure together to melt, leading to the collapse, California Department of Transportation director Will Kempton said.

The charred section of collapsed freeway was draped at a sharp angle onto the highway beneath, exposing a web of twisted metal beneath the concrete. Officials said that altogether a 250-yard portion of the upper roadway was damaged.

We'll be looking for your apology, this week, Ms. O'Donnell.

We'll be looking for apologies from you and all the other 9/11 "truthers" (there's the ultimate misnomer) who have viciously slandered America, its people, it's president, its executive branch, and more -- while cruelly excusing the murderers who slaughtered almost 3,000 people and injured thousands more.

To excuse the guilty, while accusing the innocent, is a double sin.

We'll be waiting for your apology this week.

"Men stumble over the truth from time to time, but most pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing happened."  (Winston Churchill)

Churchill exaggerated.  Most people do listen to reason, most of the time.  They have to.  It's essential to our survival.

The trick is to separate those opinion leaders whose ideas hold up like steel from those opinion leaders whose logic melts as fast as as an interchange in a 2,750 degree fire.

Which sort of opinion leader is Rosie O'Donnell?

If we put our trust in the sort of ideas that rapidly collapse when tested by logic -- or by their first encounter with the real world -- we will not long survive.

Bad ideas can be extremely deadly.

Put your trust in the 9/11 "truthers" and you'll end up with the next 9/11, and worse, all too soon.

But what angers me the most about 9/11 conspiracy mongering is that those who spread such lies are ignoring all facts, evidence, and logic in an attempt to excuse men who viciously murdered innocent men, women and children in the name of Allah.  They are going out of their way to excuse Mohammed Atta, the 9/11 hijacker with dead eyes

Mohammed_atta

The man at the counter in Portland on 9/11 seemed to know instantly, however, that before him stood one of these "dead souls." He says, "It was just the look on the one man's face, his eyes...everyone in America has seen a picture of this man, but there is more life in that photograph we've all seen than he had in the flesh and blood. He looked like a walking corpse. He looked so angry. And he wouldn't look directly at me."

They excuse Mohammed Atta and the other hijackers because they are so filled with rage for this man -- a man who feels pain and still strives for what is decent and right:

Bushfalkner

What is wrong with someone's soul that they can excuse Mohammed Atta and yet condemn George W. Bush?

Either they are so blinded by their own rage that they don't see the difference in the men or -- and this is a thought too horrible to contemplate -- they don't care.  They don't care that they are choosing to side with men whose hearts smolder with rage like that pit of hell at 9/11 Ground Zero.

In the process, they commit a horrible crime against these:

911_victims

These are only some of the victims of the 9/11 attack -- those who did not survive the day.  Many others were critically injured, widowed, orphaned, crushed and bereaved.  Thousands lost their hope -- some in an instant -- many others, aching hour by aching hour.

When you give a pass to the cold, calculating murderers of your own countrymen -- and ooze malice against the decent leaders of your own nation -- what are you?

Whether you think you choose it or not, you are striking at this:

Statue_of_liberty

God help you.  There will come a time when the fifth column will melt like steel.

One question. If gasoline or diesel cannot burn at a temperature high enough to weaken steal, why does your car have a radiator and cooling system. Why do "air cooled" motors need lots of cooling fins not to damage the steel cylinder sleeves. Think about it. If you agree with Rosie, don't put coolant in your car!

hi i am miguel brito and i apreciate you getting the information to me and the rest of the internet surfers, about the xylitol which can be deadly for dogs. i wanted to know if it was at all harmful to human biengs hence the reason for first looking for the information. But anyway let me get to the point. I miguel brito believe my self to be a 911 "truther". Although i dont call ym slef that because ,for one i don't like grouping my self together (it is then easier for people to critisize and "label" you)with other individuals. When in a group it is much easier for an "outsider" to say: "We'll be looking for apologies from you and all the other 9/11 "truthers" (there's the ultimate misnomer) who have viciously slandered America, its people, it's president, its executive branch, and more -- while cruelly excusing the murderers who slaughtered almost 3,000 people and injured thousands more."
Its much easier to group people into these type of groups and attack them verbally. Of course you have the freedom to, I mean people have done it since the begining of time, i think it is also a strong part of rascism(gruoping).
I also think once you make a group out of people it is also a reason to feal threatened and left out. like "what did i miss". Well at least people who ponder about 911 are pondering and thinking, instead of the other lower percentage who diddn't not once care to investigate into one of the largest crimes ever commited in america. It was a crime was it not? and in being a crime aren't you supposed to keep evidence of the "crime", such as pieces of the building. anyway i just think you should do more investigation into this crime.
