Bad news for the family of John Edwards. His wife Elizabeth's breast cancer has returned and has spread to the bone and to other locations, possibly including the lung.
Although Edwards says that his presidential campaign will continue, that seems unrealistic given what the family will be dealing with in the months ahead.
With all due respect to his dream, and with hope for a full cure for Elizabeth Edwards, John Edwards should put his presidential ambitions on hold for the time being and focus his attention and love on his wife and their two small children.
